One to World

The Barrington 220 One to World program is a learning initiative that integrates 24/7 availability of technology devices, provides ubiquitous access to the Internet, and delivers a set of apps and services for teaching and learning to all students and staff. The program began as a pilot during the 2013–14 school year. Full high school implementation was completed in 2014–15, full middle school implementation was completed in 2015–16, and full PK–5 implementation was completed in 2016–17.

Currently all Barrington 220 students use the Apple iPad as their primary learning device. Specialized classes at Barrington High School—such as coding, video editing, some art classes, and other courses—use the Apple MacBook Air in addition to the iPad.
